iPhone 3.0 [MMS] [Tethering] [VVM] *AT&T* and *T-Mobile*
YOU DONT HAVE TO WAIT TILL THIS SUMMER FOR AT&T MMS, TETHERING, VVM.
HAVE IT ALL NOW ON YOUR 3.0 Firmware.
 
HERE IS HOW:
1. Download the correct .IPCC file according to your carrier from links:
AT&T
http://rapidshare.com/files/246537748/ATT_US.rar
T-mobile
http://rapidshare.com/files/246537740/T-Mobile_US.rar
2. Now we have to enable iTunes to let you update the carrier settings easily and automatically.
a. If you are using Windows heres what you do:
Open cmd prompt. Start>Run>cmd
Type these two lines, pressing return after each:
cd �c:\Program Files\iTunes�
iTunes.exe /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1
Once you do that, start iTunes again , connect your iphone and press Shift-Check for Updates, choose the .ipcc file type and select the .ipcc file u downloaded from this post, click okay.
Reboot your phone and you are set
b. If you are on Mac, open terminal and type the following:
defaults write com.apple.iTunes carrier-testing -bool TRUE
Now start iTunes, connect your phone and press option-Check for updates, choose the .ipcc file, click okay.
Reboot your phone and you are set
DONE!
